Guess My Eye Palette!

Hi guys! Super quick post today to preview what's to come on ze blog. Can you guess which palette I used to create this eye look? I'll give you a hint: it's been long anticipated by makeup junkies like myself, hence, I am a huge fan!! This look is über simple, I created it in less than 5 minutes by sweeping the colors on to my lids, however, I will be turning on the drama for upcoming looks using this awesome new palette! Guess that's another hint :))

Marilyn Makiaj isn't afraid of color!

Salut mes belles!! The look I'm featuring today is part of a colorful makeup competition I entered on the Makeupbee beauty community which was personally inspired by the awesome wig sent to me by the lovely people at KKcenterHK. The contest rules call for a look that is fun, vibrant and colorful, so without a second thought, I put on my wig, grabbed my Coastal Scents palettes and got to work. The prize is an amazing collection of Sugarpill eyeshadows (the makeup brand that is pretty much synonymous with color and saturation) and I'm excited to share that three winners will be chosen to receive the prize! Fluro-Trash

Bonjour mes belles :))

In today's post, I'm featuring a makeup look I wore last week to a theme birthday party for my fabulous friend Kavita, who celebrated her big day in the funky style of Ibiza nightlife. Ibiza is a party island off the coast of Spain and is known for its fiery, crazy, fluorescent, "barely there" fashion and atmosphere. The birthday girl was adorned in brights, glitter and feathers and the guests sipped on Sangria as they danced the night away to Euro beats. Since the party was held in a NYC loft and not on a hot sandy beach, I wanted to concentrate most of the crazy fluorescence on my face, rather than in the styling of my wardrobe. I did, however, wear a see-through top with a bright bathing suit underneath and a mini leopard skirt for the barely there factor. My maquillage was very bright and different from what I would normally wear to a party, so I named it Fluro-Trash, if you know what I mean :))) Here's the look:
