Celebrate Pride in Happy Rainbows!

Salut mes amis!! Take out your makeup crayons and join me in today's celebration of life, love, equality and pride for this year's Pride Week! June is the official LGBT Pride Month, with this week being celebrated across the globe with hundreds of gay pride parades, marches, festivals and other events. New York City is home to the first parade commemorating the June 28, 1969 Stonewall Riots in Greenwich Village, which signify the beginning of the modern LGBT rights movement. Today, gay pride is symbolized with the rainbow flag and the annual pride parade is a huge part of our NYC culture. Need more of a reason to wear rainbow colors? I think NOT!

Marilyn Makiaj isn't afraid of color!

Salut mes belles!! The look I'm featuring today is part of a colorful makeup competition I entered on the Makeupbee beauty community which was personally inspired by the awesome wig sent to me by the lovely people at KKcenterHK. The contest rules call for a look that is fun, vibrant and colorful, so without a second thought, I put on my wig, grabbed my Coastal Scents palettes and got to work. The prize is an amazing collection of Sugarpill eyeshadows (the makeup brand that is pretty much synonymous with color and saturation) and I'm excited to share that three winners will be chosen to receive the prize!
