"Princess Purple" Romantic Makeup Tutorial

Hello my beauties!! It's Friday and I'm feeling pensive and serene... it's been a long, tough week and I'm so ready to exhale and recharge. Today's dreamy look is inspired by sparkling, purple twilight and the mystical, magical air it exudes. I'm wearing my new crown, a medieval braid and some princess-purple makeup to match, using all Motives Cosmetics. Where am I heading? Holiday Makeup & Nails: Sparkly from head to toe!

Salut mes belles! The easiest way to transform any makeup or nails look into a festive one is to add sparkle in the form of glitter, shimmers, rhinestones or jewels. Hence, today on the agenda, I'm adding a dose of holiday sparkle to some of my favorite go-to looks and transforming them for a celebratory occasion.

Spring Shimmer Florals Nail Art

Salut mes amis! It's the first day of April, but I'm not here to fool you, in fact, my blog is all about the opposite. I'm here today and every day to share my knowledge and spread the love for the art of beauty! With that said, it's Mani-Monday and today's theme is hand-painted nail art inspired by Spring, florals, pastels and glitter. For Spring, I'm incorporating softer pastel colors like Illamasqua's Nail Polish in Purity (a gorgeous apricot) and Shimmer Polish in Karen (a vibrant lilac glitter polish). For the flowers, I'm depicting some lilies, orchids and easy-to-paint daisies and painting everything directly on top of the glitter. I know this design may seem complicated to beginner nail artists, but it can be simplified and I'll teach you just how to do it :)

"Glitter Milkshake" or "Wedding Day Glitters" Nail Art!

Bonjour mes amis! I think I'm in love! I found the world's most sophisticated glitter polish and I'm so obsessed with it -- I kind of want to lick it! I'm talking about none other than China Glaze Nail Lacquer in It's A Trap-eze from the Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away Collection. This is my favorite CG collection thus far, and It's A Trap-eze! is my number one pick. For the sake of this post, I took the liberty of decorating on top, but I'll tell you a secret: I actually wore this polish ALONE for three whole days... that's how much I love it! This is the first time I've done that in over 2 years :)
