"Tribal Lace" Summer Nail Art

Hey guys! Here's today's quick nail art post for Mani-Monday -- I call it "Tribal Lace". I hand-painted this design late last night while snapping away the steps on my Snapchat: MaryamNYC, and I even implemented a couple of ideas that some of you sent me during my painting session. So I guess you can call this one a collaborative / interactive effort :) Thanks to everyone who participated, you guys are super awesome!!

"MUA-Inspired" NAIL ART

Hello beauties! I wasn't planning on sharing this nail art, since it is well past the IMATS and all... but on second thought, I figured it's never too late to post makeup-inspired nails, which I hand-painted last week for the famous makeup convention here in NY. I went all out and this just might be my favorite nail art of all time... second only to my Game of Thrones nail art. What do you think? Would you wear this? Which is your favorite nail? Spring Beauty: Mixed Patterns & Prints

Hello beauties! My fingers and toes are so ready for warm weather -- I'm anticipating lots of corals, pastels and heavy metals coming up this season and into the summer. This week's nail art is a hodgepodge of such themes, focusing on texture, color and detail. I used three nail polish appliqués from Incoco (Coral Crush, By The Sea & New Directions), cut them up into strips, embellished and mix-n-matched to create my own custom designs, then threw in some hardcore glitter nails to complete the set. I sealed everything with gel top coat for extra shine and longevity. I dunno about you, but I'm LOVING this one. It is so very me and so very Spring!!!

Nail Art: Bright Like A Diamond

Hi beauties! This week, I'm shining bright like a diamond, so I'm keeping it literal with this contrasting, black and white negative space mani. Would you wear it and if so, where to? I used Ciaté "Snow Virgin" white polish, Nubar black nail art pen and some Swarovski elements to embellish my hand-painted design. What do you think?

"White Nights" Ombré Nail Art

Hi dolls! This week's nail art is probably one of my favorites of all time. It is bright, happy and mystical all at once and reminds me of my birth place, hence the title "White Nights". I used a few of my favorite brands and nail polishes for this mani, check out my Instagram post for more details and don't forget to follow :)

Rockstar Pink Nail Tips

Salut mes amis,

Quick and easy nail post today, using Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink glitter nail polish on my tips... as if I was playing in a glitter sand box :))) P. S. Sorry for reposting this a million times, but my preview pic ins't showing up in the blogger dashboard and I am über ::annoyed::

UPDATE: OMG guys, I feel like a genius!! After wrestling with blogger the entire day, I finally figured out that the reason why my preview pic wasn't showing up in the dashboard is because the first "pic" was an Amazon Associates link to the nail polish I was using. If you ever experience this problem, make sure your first link appears after your preview pic, like so: Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink, or simply drag and insert your pic above your writing (I did that as well). Doing so will prevent any interference with the blogger dashboard.

Strawberry Love Swirls Forever

Salut chicas :))

Thank you all so much for your kind words and well wishes regarding hurricane Irene. Thankfully, she passed rather quickly and spared us a major power outage (some of my friends weren't as lucky). Being stuck indoors the entire weekend, I was bored out of my mind; until I decided to take advantage of my free time to practice water marbling on my nails. Having the extra time and patience paid off well and I think I finally succeeded!! With Irene's swirling winds long gone, my nails are now marked with swirling twirling winds of love in bright strawberry pink :))) excuse my corny, I just can't help myself... I find meaning in everything. Here's the impression she left behind:
