Ni-hao dear friends!! Today's makeup / style post is inspired by the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water and is featuring my newest fashion collaboration!

As you may have noticed in the past few months or so, I've been aiming to expand my content to cover more areas of beauty, incorporating skin care reviews, jewelry collaborations and style posts. Today's makeup / style post was made possible with SammyDress.com, an online fashion retailer featuring a wide range of clothing and accessories at factory direct prices.

I'm wearing Gamiss Irregular Hem Sleeveless Chiffon Dress in Navy. Because of my smaller physique (5 ft 2 in) and curvy body type, I always have to accentuate my waist in order to avoid looking heavier. I kept this in mind when choosing this dress, but also wanted to try something different from what I normally wear.

The Style: Casual, effortless cool. Although this dress is probably meant for a taller / thinner person, I feel comfortable wearing this style to an afternoon of shopping and strolling. I love the airy feel of the chiffon layer and the asymmetric detailing of the cutouts at the waist and torso. The inner layer of the dress is pretty short, so I paired it with matching heather gray leggings to give it an even more comfortable look. Since I'm used to wearing a lot of form-fitting dresses, this style is rather different for me, but it is definitely a style I can get used to!

For the Elements of Fire and Water, I incorporated a bright red lippie and a soft bluesy smokey eye. I kept my hair Earthy and disheveled to complete the makeup look for the Airy blue dress.
