"Glitter Milkshake" or "Wedding Day Glitters" Nail Art!

Bonjour mes amis! I think I'm in love! I found the world's most sophisticated glitter polish and I'm so obsessed with it -- I kind of want to lick it! I'm talking about none other than China Glaze Nail Lacquer in It's A Trap-eze from the Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away Collection. This is my favorite CG collection thus far, and It's A Trap-eze! is my number one pick. For the sake of this post, I took the liberty of decorating on top, but I'll tell you a secret: I actually wore this polish ALONE for three whole days... that's how much I love it! This is the first time I've done that in over 2 years :)

China Glaze Nail Lacquer -- It's A Trap-eze! -- this nail art in a bottle is a sugary concoction of large and medium sized rainbow glitter swimming in a milky blue/white base. The effect reminds me of a glitter milkshake (or at least how I imagine one would look like). This polish is so subtle and sophisticated that I can actually see it on a bride or even on someone like my mom who doesn't normally wear glitter. It's A Trap-eze! is much more upscale than any glitter polish I've yet to try. Thirteen-year-olds beware :)

Other Products Used:
  • Base Coat: Duri Rejuvacote
  • Top Coat: Seche Vite
  • NailsChic MicroPen in White -- borrowed this one from my 5 year old sister, she got it from FAO Schwarz

After wearing "It's A Trap-eze" for three days by itself, I used the NailsChic pen to decorate the ring finger with romantic, free-hand swirls and added French Tip swirls to the rest of my fingers. I finished the design with a coat of Seche Vite.
I had the hardest time choosing between my two titles for this nail art, so I decided to go with both: "Wedding Day Glitters" -- no jitters, and -- "Glitter Milkshake". What do you think? I kinda like them both :)) Would you wear glitter polish on your wedding day?

  16. I love the space here. The main floor is very large and good size without being overwhelming, also there's tons of bar space too to order drinks.
