Hi beauties! It's "Neutral Makeup" season and I find myself reaching for my Motives Mavens Element Palette more often than any other. Bonjour mes amis!! There's something about the early fall season that puts me in the mood for cozy flannels and a grungy color palette. Come October, I'll be well over the trend and back to my usual mix of nudes and brights, but for the meantime, I'm all about embracing autumn in its full glory. Today, on ze blog: soft, velvety smokey eyes paired with matte lips and a modern twist on a throwback outfit inspired by the 90's music scene. It's taking me back to my school days and how I wished to have looked if I were an adult at the time!

Edgy, Exotic Pastels for Spring

Hello my beauties & Happy "Almost End of the Week"!! In my previous post, I promised you update you at least twice a week, so today's edition is my second installment, this time focusing on makeup. This look was put together using all Motives Cosmetics, as well as our Mavens Palettes, and was inspired by my "Minty Fresh" nail art (which you can observe here). I typically never match my makeup to my nails, but there's just something about Mint that makes me wear it all over and I don't mind coordinating. I also added a dose of edge with some graphic, Arabic-inspired liner and a well-contoured face.
