Rain on my Parade!

Bonjour!

Here's a quick mid-week maquillage du jour or makeup look of the day. I wanted to keep it simple and chic, and what better way to do it than through a spring inspired smokey eye. Sometimes I like to match my makeup to the colors outside, and since its been pretty cloudy and drizzly, today's look is all about embracing the blues and grays of Spring's rainy days. So go ahead and rain on my parade (just don't snow :))

ABOUT THE MAKEUP: This look is perfect for every day, if you're the type to wear makeup every day. If you're more of a natural gal, take a rain check and save this look for a date :)

PRODUCTS USED: I used some gray, some blue-gray, some light brown and some white eyeshadows, all from the Coastal Scents 88 Matte Palette. 

YOU KNOW THE TECHNIQUE: 

1. Prime
2. Pat, pat, pat the blue-gray (flat stiff brush)
3. Blend, blend, blend the edge with the gray (fluffy brush)
4. Sweep, sweep, sweep with the light brown (fluffy brush)
5. Highlight under the brow with the white (any brush)

7. Line the bottom waterline and connect the two
8. Add mascara and off you go!!
