Bonjour mes belles!!! I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day with your beaus <3 or if you didn't celebrate, I hope you are happy and healthy and your week is going great! My week has been busy as heck, as February is always a really big month for me. Not only is there Valentine's Day, but every single important person in my life was born in this month, so the celebrations are endless and I literally don't have any days to myself--not that I am complaining! February is great and I love every single Aquarius in my life :)) During this hectic time, my makeup routine is usually very quick and simple for every day, and this is where my beloved Naked & Naked 2 palettes have come in very handy. The 2 looks I'm featuring today have been my transitional day-to-evening makeup ensembles, and I've been wearing them to various casual & semi-casual functions.
Read on to see my looks!!!
LOOK #1: Mauve-n-mellow smokey

This casual mauve smokey eye is simple enough for work / school and can certainly play its role in the after-hours when paired with a pretty glossy lip and big earrings. To get this look, I used solely the Urban Decay NAKED 2 palette and black mascara, and the eye look took me no longer than 5 minutes to complete.
- Urban Decay Naked 2 palette
- Verve -- inner half of the lid
- Pistol -- outer half of the lid
- Blackout -- outer "V"
- Tease -- crease
- Foxy -- highlight under brow / inner corner
- Snakebite -- lower lash line
- L'Oréal Telescopic mascara in Blackest Black
- NYX Slim Lip Liner Pencil in Natural
- Rimmel lipstick in Airy Fairy
- NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige

LOOK #2: Soft and velvety plummy definition

This über wearable clean defined plummy eye look is matte, easy to wear, and can be quickly transformed for evening's wear with a pair of lash accents. For this look, I used 5 matte eye shadows from the original Naked & Naked 2 palettes:
- Urban Decay Naked 2 palette
- Tease -- all over lid
- Blackout -- outer corner
- Foxy -- highlight under the brow / inner corner
- Urban Decay Naked Palette
- Buck -- crease, lower lash line
- Naked -- to blend out the crease
- Ardell lash accents #305

How do you wear your NAKEDS??

It usually works out that way isn't it! A whole bunch of my good friends were born in November so I'm always out in November! beautiful..both looks are amazing.
ReplyDeleteLOVELY! I got the NAKED palette for Valentine's day and I use it for work every day now!!!! I get lots of compliments, the shadows blend so nicely and the colours are awesome! I'm not sure why I didn't get it when it came out. Once my Sephora re-stocks, I think I'm getting NAKED 2 as well! It allows me to do a different look every day for work without getting bored of neutrals.
ReplyDeletecan you do a cut crease tutorial using UD naked 2?! i wanna see how that would look before i buy it.
ReplyDeleteperfect and simple :) I love it
