Bonjour mes amis! This season, I'm keeping it "glamorous, glitzy and glossy" with a little help from my not-so-secret arsenal: December's Glossybox. Holiday Lights, Camera, Makeup and Action!

Salut mes amis! The day is finally here and I'm proud to present my first ever VIDEO tutorial and "live" makeup transformation!! I can't even begin to express to you how ecstatic I am to finally be on YouTube and how much I'm looking forward to sharing this new experience with all of you. This is a monumental day for this blog and my brand new channel: Maryam Maquillage and I can't believe we did it! Thank you guys for all your unconditional support and positivity -- you have motivated me to take this thing further and I'm really stoked to embark on this new journey with all of you!

A SPECIAL MERCI goes out to my Lee Lee, my Mr. Maquillage, who filmed, edited and produced this tutorial without any prior knowledge of video production! He is amazing and I simply couldn't have done it without him. He really is the father of this blog LOL...

Bonjour mes amis! Continuing with this month's seasonal theme, today's holiday look is festive, flattering and ultra feminine. I wanted to create a sultry smokey eye that would look great on anyone, add a pop of color, and a bit of glitz; so Voila -- this is what I came up with!

"Tree Lighting" Christmas Nail Art

Hi friends! Today's Christmas themed nail art is more traditional than my previous design and uses nail polishes from my favorite China Glaze Holiday Joy Collection. Over the last couple of weeks, I've seen a lot of Christmas-y manicures, and I couldn't help but be inspired by them. This "Tree Lighting" nail art is a combination of a few designs I've come across, with a couple of personal touches to give it my own spin. Hope you like my take on it!

Wild Wild Xmas!

Salut mes belles! Christmas is less than a week away and this year I'm taking a walk on the wild side! Today I'm using the traditional "gold and red" combo and revamping it with a bit of edge and a dose of glitter for all you non-traditionalists out there! This look is fierce, but simple enough for anyone to recreate. Let's get started!

My Brows, Anastasia Style!

Salut mes amis! My long-awaited eyebrow post is finally here, featuring products from Anastasia Beverly Hills, founded by Hollywood's top brow guru and celebrity beauty expert, Anastasia Soare. Anastasia's brow shaping technique is based on the classic "golden ratio" method in art and takes an architectural "blueprint" approach to brow structure and shape. Dressed-Up in Funky Tropics

Salut mes amis! Today's abstract "Tropical" makeup look was inspired by a set of funky Nail Dress stickers by Kiss and was created using some of my favorite products. With all the holiday madness going on right now, I just wanted to conceptualize something different and fun for my kind of holiday season. Not to worry, I will have plenty of Christmas-y goodness coming up after this post -- today, I just wanted to revisit my artistic side and show you something fresh! I don't know about you, but I need a little break from all the ready-to-wear makeup hehe...

Metals, Shimmers & Sparkles

Salut mes amis! This month's theme is glitz and glam, so I'm whipping out my glitter liner and shimmery eyeshadows to create this bright eyed metallic daytime makeup look! Teal is one of my favorite colors and looks great on all eye colors, especially on brownies!

Jinglin' Bling!

Salut mes belles! Happy December, I hope you're all happy and well :) This month is all about the holidays and I'd like to open the season with this glitzy, gold, glam glitter look. I think classic gold makeup is great for the holidays and can go with any outfit or style -- add the glitter and you're ready to rock & jingle!

Bluesy Neutrals

Bonjour mes amis! It's the last day of the month and I'm closing it off with a pop of color! A few days ago, I received my first batch of Makeup Geek eye shadows and gel liners to play with and wanted my first MUG look to be wearable, fun and holiday-appropriate. With Hanukkah right around the corner, I thought I'd focus on blues and whites (or in this case, neutrals) to deliver a bright-yet-suble look that anyone can replicate!

November's Glossybox Brings Back Memories...

Salut mes amis! As the title of this post suggests, this month's Glossybox has really inspired me to reminisce and revisit... a simpler era of makeup I grew up on and one that is making a creeping come-back: the 90's! I was a 90's kid for sure and am really drawn to brown makeup and gothic style; however, since I'm not 13 anymore, I'm revamping my inner goth child and giving her a modern outlook.

It's a Glossy Event with Koh Gen Do!

Salut mes amis :)) Hope your Sunday was a Fun-Day!! Last Friday, I had the opportunity to wind down and have some fun of my own at a Koh Gen Do launch party hosted by Glossybox at Sephora Times Square. I love to celebrate, socialize, and am a huge fan of both brands, so this event was totally my thang! What could be better than sippin' on champagne, munchin' on cupcakes, trying on & talkin' makeup, plus taking home a glossy box full of goodies? For a beauty blogger, there truly is nothing better. smooth strands, curls & waves with ghd styler

Bonjour mes amis! One of my most FAQ's is about my hair: "What do you use to dye your hair?" -- "Is your hair naturally straight?" and "How do you style your hair?" Although I'm not much of a guru when it comes hair styling, these questions are valid and I'm addressing them all in this post. Two of them are already answered with the picture you see above. No, my hair isn't naturally straight (sadly, it isn't curly either) and I use this ghd black gloss classic styler as my #1 tool to tame my tresses to smooth perfection and also to create luscious curls!!

Hola chicas :)) Without looking at the title, can you guess the Latina celebrity whose makeup style I'm imitating? Hint: this look was worn last week to the Emmy's, by a certain celeb who had a pretty funny and public wardrobe malfunction, posted on Twitter! Who could this modern mama be? LOL I'm terrible at keeping it subtle!!

In celebration of Hispanic heritage month (through Oct. 15) and my nail spread in Cosmo Latina, I'm honoring a few of my favorite Latinas and duping their makeup looks, with today's first: Sofia Vergara!
