Gold, Bold & Angeliq

Bonjour mes amis! Today's post is my second installment in collaboration with Caviar Noir Jewelry (see first post here), featuring a signature piece that is sure to turn heads and demand attention! The fan favorite Angelique shoulder neck piece in Gold is bold and empowering, requiring none other than a will and a want to be daring and different. To complement this strong statement piece, I went for simple, edgy makeup & hair with an overall demure style reminiscent of Dark Angel (remember her?) -- after all, this post is all about the strong female!

The "Angelique" lateral shoulder neck chain sits on the collarbone, resting around the neck and the shoulder cuff. This versatile piece is the quintessential adornment to any strapless dress or corset and looks amazing when worn over a simple black tank. I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten when wearing Angelique on a night out on the town in NYC -- this piece is certainly a conversation starter!
Makeup: Angeliq with Wings!
MON MAQUILLAGE:

This warrior princess is ready for battle!!!
My Messy Braid Bun Combo was completed in about 1 minute:
  1. I gathered my hair in a pony tail, high on top of my head, and secured the pony with an elastic.
  2. Next, I wrapped the pony around its base to create a loose, messy bun and secured it in place with a few bobby pins.
  3. For the braid part, I used a braid headband and wrapped it around the bun, hiding the elastic under the bun. Voila!
No "Dark Angel" look is complete without a pair of opaque black leggings and a fierce shiny corset. Mine are from Uniqlo and Charlotte Russe, respectively.

Angelique body armor loves the curves and accentuates the female form better than any other accessory. Not only is this piece flattering, but it is also empowering and totally unique -- you'll just love wearing it! All Caviar Noir pieces are hand made, and Angelique is custom made to fit individual proportions. Are you ready to battle?

bisous,
