Salut mes amis :))
Are you in the holiday spirit just yet? Is your house dressed up in lights, trees, candles and wintry decorations? Are you ready to sip on that eggnog & sing Christmas carols or will you be lighting your minora candles & spinning that dreidel for Hanukkah? As promised, my next few makeup looks for the month will be inspired by the upcoming holidays, and today's look is once again Christmas spirited. Honestly speaking, I'm not really an X-mas person, but since my blog space is all about positivity and good vibes, I'm embracing the holiday season and dropping my "Bah Humbug" attitude. Well, maybe not completely... after all, my look for today is entitled the Ghost of Christmas for a reason. Santa knows I'm sometimes naughty :)))
Perfect for an office party... NOT! Read more :)
That tricky GREEN eyeshadow: as a person of Asian descent, I'm not big into how green eye shadows look against my skin color. Like most Asian skin tones, my skin complexion has a yellow undertone that appears green and sickly whenever I wear green makeup. This effect may not show up in pictures, but trust me when I say it's true in real life! This probably goes without saying, but I turn into a major Scrooge when it comes to pairing green eye shadows with red lipstick. Having said this, I'm a big believer in making things work--especially when it comes to makeup challenges--so I dare to wear Green for Xmas, just for you guys ;) In this case, I'm pairing my green look with bright fuchsia lipstick to offset the "sickly" complexion--this trick works on Asian coloring :)

P. S. From now on, I will be including Amazon links to the products used in my makeup / nailart looks. Let me know if you like this idea :))
Needless to say, this makeup is quite dramatic, and if you see this look as unwearable, think of today's post as a concept rather than an actual Christmas makeup idea. Tone down this look by skipping the dramatics: false lower lashes, black crease, and/or inner corner winged glitter liner. Try the emerald green & fuchsia color combo to channel the Christmas spirit without being too obvious or cliché. For the bold girls, go for the gusto and become the Ghost of Xmas!!

You don't look sickly to me Maryam! Pretty as usual Hun! I have yellow undertones too so I'm picky with green eyeshadows. My fave green is MAC humid. I tend to gravitate towards greens that are almost jewel toned.
