Bonjour mes amis! Today's post is my second installment in collaboration with Caviar Noir Jewelry (see first post here), featuring a signature piece that is sure to turn heads and demand attention! The fan favorite Angelique shoulder neck piece in Gold is bold and empowering, requiring none other than a will and a want to be daring and different. To complement this strong statement piece, I went for simple, edgy makeup & hair with an overall demure style reminiscent of Dark Angel (remember her?) -- after all, this post is all about the strong female!

Bonjour mes amis! Beach season is here and I'm feeling inspired by all the summery elements of my favorite past time: Beach Bummin'! My eye of the day isn't something that I'd actually wear to the beach (I much prefer no makeup and lots of SPF), but it is an artistic embodiment of all the goodies one can find there: the luminous sun, the warm sand, the refreshing waves, and the clear blue sky. In fact, this bright fun look can be worn to a beach bonfire party and/or would be perfect for any other summer night out!

Mixed Patterns NailArt

Salut mes amis! There is nothing more fun and fresh for this season's nails than mixed patterns in complementary colors. A year ago, I would've thought of this trend as something outrageous and unwearable; however, today, I'm more than eager to experiment and play around with it! For my nail art du jour, I went with intricate patterns and prints, but kept it neutral in color to maximize its ready-to-wear factor.

Salut mes amis! It's a Monday at the work place, but it's a Friday Party on my nails!!! This nail design is not for the faint of heart -- it is loud, bright and attention grabbing. In the past few days of wearing this creative manicure, I've received nearly a hundred comments from women, men, children & strangers on the subway asking to see my nails. I'd say this nail art is definitely a conversation starter!! Like the idea?

A Chloro-Pheeling :)

Hey girls & boys!! Today's makeup look is inspired by two things: the first being my pet plant ("who" is in desperate need of a name & suggestions are welcome :) and the second being the wondrous, joyful colors of Lime Crime* Makeup. As most of my regular readers know, I hardly ever wear green eyeshadow, but I love to experiment and try everything -- even if it's uncomfortable or quirky -- so today is that day!
